At RK Arena we provide our customers with the comfort of knowing that their horse is receiving show quality horse care, training and a facility to participate in Team Sorting, Team Penning, Roping, Cow Control and other Ranch Versatility contests (see the subpage links below for the Ranch Sorting Schedules). All horses in our stables are extremely well cared for and we provide respectful, safe quality training and exercising, to promote a better partnership between the horse and owner. Our focus is to keep your horse both physically and mentally responsive - with an emphasis on the working cow horse. We offer a number of events such as Ranch Sorting & Roping, and general practice sessions, allowing our clients to work their horses on cattle. Or for those boarders who are trail riders, we're minutes away from the beautiful Kiser Lake State Park for your enjoyment. Also, we'd be happy to help you with a problem trail horse or start a new or young horse on the trails.
RK Arena offers standard “boarding services” plus many additional daily, weekly and monthly care services that other facilities do not provide, or feel that they must charge extra to their customers. Our board care services are all inclusive to ensure your horses' health, both physically and mentally, giving you the comfort of knowing that your horse is, healthy, happy and safe to ride on or off cattle.
At RK Arena we offer two levels of service; Full Care Boarding , and Full Care Boarding plus Training & Conditioning services. We provide our clients with the comfort of knowing that their horse receives show quality care as well as, consistent and respectful ground and undersaddle training.
Our philosphy at RK Arena is all about quality service not the quantity of clients. We only commit ourselves to a limited number of clients at any one time - generally servicing only 2-6 horses. We pride ourselves in the ability to offer our clients and horses a safe, clean, and well managed facility.  20 years experience in riding, competition, training, & teaching horsemanship. Owner/Operator on site. 44 Acres, 30 acres of pastures for turn & out-safe trail riding off property. New 72' x 160' indoor arena; 10 stalls, heated tack room, viewing area, feed room, & grooming bay. 160' x 200' lighted outdoor arena. Round Pens (either set up in the indoor arena, or outside depending weather conditions). Large graveled driveway & parking for easy trailer loading & trailer storage-two full hookup sites(water/electric) for overnites. Specializes in Western riding disciplines, Trail Riding, Ranch Sorting & Penning, Ranch Roping, & all around Ranch Versatility desciplines. Only minutes (1.5 miles) away from Kiser Lake State Park with miles of Bridle Trails. |
