Good crowd, good fun, great food, lot's of fast times and lot's of new novice and open riders in attendance. We were a little short handed in the help this week (gate folks and cattle heard changers), but we'll have the full crew on hand for next week. Thanks to Tod Boger his grandson, Rick Dicus and his grandson for their help, much appreciated, and the kids did a good job for us. Hey, the next sorting (3rd in the Winter Buckle Series) is Dec 5th, Practice runs start at 2 PM so if you want any practice runs before the competition starts, get here before 2 PM get your horse warmed up and signed up. We're going to try to make sure we start the practice rclass right at 2 PM.
As always, if you know you're coming out to sort next week, call or email us to RSVP - to ensure you got a spot in the indoor. I'd say about two-thirds of the 60 or so riders that come out call or email in advance to confirm their attendance - it will happen that we have more riders than we can safely fit in the indoor at one time, so with the weather turning colder, it's a good idea to call ahead before the event to confirm attendance.
